Caldy’s main assets apart from the Course, are the truly magnificent views from the Clubhouse and terrace. Down the 1st and 18th fairways, across the river Dee, then onwards towards the Welsh coastline, the Clwyd Hills and finally the Snowdonia Mountain ranges. The spacious air conditioned Clubhouse provides a friendly atmosphere in which to relax.
Pride of place serving the lounges and Snooker Room, is a well equipped bar stocking all the usual drinks, beers and lagers, complemented by a comprehensive wine cellar.
The ‘real ale’ enthusiasts are well catered for with an ever changing range of cask conditioned beers, some of which are sourced from local micro-breweries. Satellite and terrestrial channels are available on TV’s in the Main Lounge and Snooker Room.
The Dining Room can be closed off (with sound proof doors), for a private function or the whole lounge/dining area can be used as an open plan to seat 150 diners.
The Club offers a range of catering facilities to members and visitors using the locally famous Pickled Walnut Fine Foods Company who run extensive menus to suit your every need. Their chefs can also prepare a bespoke menu that is specifically tailored to your requirements. Why not start your day off with a filling of cured Lancashire bacon and freshly ground, locally roasted coffee. Head out and play your perfect round of Golf, stopping off at the 11th Cabin for drinks. Finish your round of golf taking drinks on our newly refurbished terrace overlooking the beautiful sights of the Welsh hills and the Dee estuary. Round your day off by watching the sun go down whilst enjoying your evening meal!
