Junior Development

Junior development is an important part of life at Caldy Golf Club. Our coaching sessions and lesson programmes run throughout the year, helping young golfers build their skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game.

Our excellent practice facilities and Par 3 course provide an ideal environment to learn and progress. Regular junior competitions on the Par 3 course and from the forward tees on the main course offer opportunities for every level of ability. Once juniors gain an official handicap, they are encouraged to participate in our men’s and ladies’ competitions.

We are proud of our juniors’ unbeaten season as 2026 Wirral League champions, a fantastic achievement that reflects their talent, teamwork and commitment, alongside the support of everyone involved in junior golf at Caldy.

Caldy is one of the very best places in the region to be a young golfer. It’s outstanding facilities and clear development pathway give juniors every opportunity to learn, improve and enjoy the game.

Swedish Exchange

Caldy is delighted to participate in an exchange programme with our good friends from Royal Birkdale and Royal Liverpool Golf Clubs to Flommens, Ljunghusens and Falsterbo Golf Klubbs in Sweden. This affords our girls and boys the opportunity to play golf abroad and to host our Swedish friends on an annual basis. As well as golf, our Juniors are able to enjoy the cultural and social camaraderie that the game presents.
