A fantastic week of golf culminated with our Sponsors Day last Friday afternoon. In a tight competition our winners were HE Simm, on 88 points, with the team comprising of Ian Bruce, Greg Simm, Alan Smith and Chris Evans. The full results are as follows:

Message from the Captain, John Crosby
Thank you from the Captain of Caldy GC to all visitors at the to the 19th Festival of Golf week and the final day for Sponsors and also to the many Caldy Golf Club volunteers who gave up their time from Sunday 5th August through to Friday 10th August to support the rota to ensure all Visitors were given a first class Caldy welcome; Carl Crocher and his hardworking green staff who have ensured the golf course was presented in great condition despite over 772 players using it this week; Pro Alan Gibbons and Josh Dixon for their support on Registration; Mark Kershaw and all his staff at Pickled Walnut for their provision of great quality food served with a smile, Caldy GC’s our very own “Catering with Character”; Club Secretary Gail and Golf Coordinator Matt for their early morning starts and late finishes each day this week and for their overall patience and support of the administration of the event. Caldy GC wish Matt our very best wishes as he moves on after today to pursue a career with Club V1; thanks also to Chris at Katalyst Creative our website designer who has also been busy on Social Media for us this week, working with Matt and Nigel McIntyre to ensure we have provided the best updates as events have unfolded.
