This Sunday, the 23rd of September, sees the Two Generation Foursomes at Caldy Golf Club.
It provides the opportunity for Junior members to play in a competition with an older family member, such as your dad or your grandma, in a format whereby you “share” a single ball and take alternate shots!
In the light of this two generation format, we are hoping that there will be as many junior members involved as possible.
For you Junior members who have an older family member who is also a member of the club, all you need to do is book you and your team mate onto the competition by way of the BRS golf app.
If you need any help with booking, then please feel free to ask Alan or Josh at the Pro Shop.
For you Junior members who do not have an older golfing family member who is also a member of the club, you are more than welcome to invite a family member to play with you as a guest. As a goodwill gesture, the club have confirmed that your guest will not have to pay any extra fee, other than the usual entry fee which is applicable to all entrants. We know there are a number of you who have golf playing relatives who can accompany you and who are not members of the club. This is an ideal opportunity to get them out on the course with you for a bit of golfing fun!
Once again, please book you and your family guest on to the competition via BRS or via the Pro Shop.
For you Junior member who do not have an older golfing family member, but who want to play in this competition, just let us know and we will get you a partner to accompany you. We are hoping to get some of the Colts involved!
We sincerely hope that as many of you as possible will enter this competition.
There will also be “special” prizes for the highest placed Junior containing teams. We know it goes without saying; however, please do not overlook the fact that “You have to be in it to win it!” You know that makes sense!
