The World Handicap System (WHS)
WHS went live on November 2nd 2020.
The Player Reference Guide to the Rules of Handicapping and the WHS Golfer Toolkit are excellent documents that all members should review, please follow the links on the right hand side to access these documents together they provide all the essential information you need.
The WHS MEMBERS PRESENTATION is a video provided by England Golf and narrated by Gemma Hunter Head of Handicapping for England Golf. This video runs for approximately 45 minutes but will probably answer all your questions regarding WHS.

WHS AT CALDY
Course Rating Certificates and Course Handicap Tables are displayed on the World Handicapping System notice board adjacent to the Professional’s Shop.
FAQs, unique to Caldy, can be found in the link to the right and will be updated on a regular basis.
Handicap Index adjustments will be handled within the Club V1 software. The Handicap Committee will continue to provide oversight of the system and ensure it is applied fairly to all players.

- Check your Handicap Record – if you believe it is incorrect contact the Handicap Committee at handicap@caldygolfclub.co.uk
