Sands of Dee

Cross the bridge to the seaward side. Stop and take in the view of the River Dee towards Wales and get a commanding view of the hole up to the green. A dogleg to the right, on which longer hitters will need to carry the bunkers but must take care to not run through into the far fairway bunkers. Rough to the right is thick and will make it difficult to hold the green on your second shot. A tee shot played close to the fir trees (avoiding the side bunkers) gives you the option to play a high shot or a low running one into a green that sits on the edge of the River Dee.
