Caldy benefits from an excellent driving range located close to the Clubhouse, allowing players to hit shots of any length from both grass and artificial turf. Balls are available from the Club Professional Shop and the range is open from early in the morning until dusk.
An extensive putting green immediately adjacent to the Clubhouse is available for the use of players at all times.
Next to the putting green, our chipping area allows players to fine tune their short game skills with the added benefit of a bunker also available.
Situated a short distance from the Clubhouse and at the bottom of the main driving range area, Caldy's old 17th hole is now a dedicated practice area which provides an invaluable facility on which to sharpen your short game. Pitches of up to 100 yards can be hit, as well as practicing your bunker and chipping skills from a variety of locations around the large green. This is all set against the backdrop of the beautiful Thurstaston Hill in the background.
Our recently opened Par 3 facility features six holes ranging in length from 68 to 117 yards. Total yardage of the course is 560 yards and it provides a perfect starting place for beginners or the ideal facility on which more experienced golfers can hone their short game skills.
